He was born in Los Angeles, one of the largest diverse cultural populations in California. In July 2000 Humberto graduated with an A.S. degree at Platt College of Graphic Design in Glendale CA. He works in several mediums such as acrylics, oils, enamels, watercolor, inks, pastels, charcoal, pencil and graphite. His earlier work was mainly as a freelance artist, which involved commercial, and some
residential murals as well as commissions. As a graphic designer, he has also designed logos, and Illustrations at a commercial level. As a portrait artist Rebo combines graphic elements of abstraction to his work by using color, form and space. In July 2005, Humberto moved to Melbourne, Florida where he married his wife Yolanda. His love for art drew him to the museum school of Melbourne, where he took some classes with the Dutch master Frits Van Eeden. In 2013 Humberto relocated to California to be near his family and pursue his Masters degree in the humanities and Theology; and graduated in 2016. At the time Humberto established the Rebo4art gallery. Humberto is showing his art at an International level and is currently working as a freelance Artist. Rebo has also started a philanthropy by donating a portion of his work toward meeting needs in several communities. About Humberto Rebollo
Influenced by some of the Modern art masters of Cubism, Expressionism, and Pop Art. In 2007 Humberto met artist and Gallery owner Robin Rothrock, where he displayed his paintings and worked alongside Robin since the fall of 2007 till December of 2010. It was during these years in which Rebo was able to build relationship and share ideas with many talented artist such as Frits Van Eeden, Nancy Dillen, Rick Piper, Derek Gores among others. Humberto reopened the Gallery as a Co-op under “Highland Art And Studio.”
