Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon is an exhibition that will celebrate Marilyn Monroe—born Norma Jeane Mortenson—as a visionary actor and image-maker, examining the many facets of how she created and shaped her public image in the context of the classical Hollywood studio system.

Featuring hundreds of original objects, from posters and photographs to rarely seen personal materials, plus an extensive display of Marilyn Monroe’s screen-worn costumes including designs by Orry-Kelly for SOME LIKE IT HOT (1959) and the iconic pink dress by William Travilla from GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES (1953).
