Another top Florida nesting sea turtle, Green sea turtles are mainly herbivores, eating foods like seagrass, algae, seaweeds, and other marine plant life. They can reach up to 500 lbs (225 kg) living off of this nutritious sea diet!
They are named Green after the color of their flesh - from eating so much algae & seaweed 🌱🌊
