Everything in the lead picture has been sold except for the Landy Dart Sport. This is the only Landy Championship car. Entertaining offers but it has to find a new home. Don't compare this car to any also ran Pro Stocker from the 70s. This is the car that Landy built for Larry Huff in 1973. Landy won the Championship and Larry Huff was runner up. In 1974 Larry Huff won the Championship in this car. In 1975 Landy bought the car from Huff first racing it with Dick Landy-Dyna Gym livery and then putting it into Landy colors. The original Landy car was destroyed after being wrecked three times. Although Landy did drive a few more times in another car this is the car he pretty much finished out his driving career with. Older restoration on a very well preserved car that still shows great. Nothing beats the value of a Championship car.

I am heartbroken. Just found out my dear friend Mike Evegens jet car driver passed away . We had stayed in touch for years. He called me a couple weeks ago and we talked for quite a while. I will truly miss him and our great conversations ! A true gentleman and great guy ! RIP my dear friend.

These old Mopars are getting near impossible to find in any kind of restorable condition. From my experience it is better to step up to a better car than to start with a complete rust bucket. Anything can be fixed but at what cost?
