Here is an obituary from June 11, 1942 for J.C.Prenot. He took over as publisher of The Louisville Herald on Dec 18, 1896, having purchased it from A.F. Julliard. On May 6, 1897, Mr. Prenot began publishing the herald on Thursday instead of Friday. He retired in 1927 and sold the paper to Louis Clapper.
