I really enjoyed painting in my studio today during the McKinney Art Studio Tour - MAST. I had so many visitors throughout the day. I painted this autumn landscape today from a photo I'd taken a year ago in New Mexico when my friends (JoAnn's Art and Cindy Krainik Farrell) and I stopped on the side of the Hwy going into Santa Fe on our way to an art workshop and took photos of the autumn foliage.
I'll be back in my studio tomorrow from noon to five and have another autumn scene ready to paint. Stop by!

Painting the in dark! Last night I participated in the Nocturne Plein Air Paint Out with the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. I just loved painting that big beautiful moon rising over the cedars at The Commons Park. I will be painting again today in one of the Frisco parks. This is such a fun, talented and welcoming group of artists (32 participating artists).
