Excited to announce that Hailey Lange Co. has joined BlackAmericana Fest 2026 as Strategic Campaign Partner.

BlackAmericana Fest is a Black roots music and cultural nonprofit festival in New Orleans — celebrating the Americana, folk, and country traditions rooted in Black history that don't always get the recognition they deserve. This year's theme, Still We Sing: Black Protest Traditions in Americana, is one of the most culturally urgent and beautifully crafted festival concepts I've encountered.

My work with the team spans the full campaign arc: marketing strategy, paid advertising, influencer and artist amplification, content ecosystem development, and the systems that turn a great grassroots event into a scalable, nationally recognized institution.

The foundation is strong — a deeply loyal community, extraordinary artist satisfaction, and an audience that leaves more connected to Black musical history than when they arrived. We're building on it.

2026 Headliners:

Tray Wellington · The Kentucky Gentlemen · Seratones · Joy Clark

September 25–26 · The Broadside · New Orleans

Follow and visit blackamericanafest.com to stay connected.

If you're doing work at the intersection of culture, community, and marketing — or you're just looking for a festival worth traveling for — this one belongs on your radar.

I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ve been invited to join the Tulane University Women’s Association Board for the 2026–2027 term.

As TUWA celebrates 115 years, I’m excited to be part of an organization with such a longstanding legacy of empowering women, building community, and supporting Tulane University through leadership, philanthropy, and connection.

Being asked to serve in this capacity means so much, especially as someone who deeply values the power of strong networks, strategic growth, and creating spaces where women can lead boldly.

I’m looking forward to helping grow membership, expand awareness, and increase participation while contributing my own expertise in communications, marketing, and community engagement.

This feels like such a full-circle opportunity to not only serve but also help amplify the impact of an organization that has been creating meaningful change for generations.

Grateful for the opportunity, inspired by the women around this table, and excited for what’s ahead.

Here’s to honoring tradition while continuing to build something powerful for the future.

Since last year?

International cultural campaigns.
Statewide advocacy strategy.
Fundraising funnels that convert.
Event marketing that actually moves tickets.

From Paris with the New Orleans Jazz Museum 🇫🇷
To River Fest storytelling rooted in culture 🌊
To Improvisations Gala campaigns built for urgency + revenue 🎷
To movement-based messaging with Geaux Far Louisiana 📚

This wasn’t about “posting consistently.”
It was about building systems, shaping narratives, and positioning brands to lead.

Marketing isn’t content.
It’s architecture.

And we’re just getting started.

Last Friday, I had the honor of serving as a judge for the Community Works’ Entrepreneurship Works pitch competition—and let me tell you, these young entrepreneurs understood the assignment.

I had the chance to mentor them on entrepreneurship, refining their pitches and embracing their unique voices. Watching them bring it all together on stage reminded me exactly why I do this work. Our future is bright—and these students are proof. 💡🚀

I’m also so impressed by this organization and their partnering organization, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), on creating this opportunity for the kids in our community.

Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to speak with a group of bright, driven, and seriously creative 4th–7th graders at Community Works’ Entrepreneurship Works Camp as part of their mentorship series. 🙌🏽

We talked about entrepreneurship, how I launched Hailey Lange Co., the ups and downs of building a business, and the importance of showing up with confidence—even when you’re figuring it out as you go.

I shared real tips and tools to help them prepare for their pitch competition next week, and I’m beyond excited to see what these future founders bring to life. If there’s any way I can support the next generation of entrepreneurs, I’m all in. 💼✨

Big thank you to for inviting me to speak—pouring into young minds and watching them light up with ideas was such a full-circle moment. I hope my story reminded them that no obstacle is bigger than their vision.

To the future business owners in the room: keep going, keep growing, and never dim your light. 🌟

In 2025, the smartest marketers won’t be those who automate everything. They’ll be the ones who know how to use AI as a tool, not a crutch.

✅ Brainstorm smarter—AI can help spin ideas, but creativity is still human.
✅ Streamline editing—AI refines, but voice and tone need a personal touch.
✅ Assist with research—AI gathers insights, but expertise makes sense of them.

The key? AI should enhance strategy, not replace strategy.

I break it all down in my latest article—read more here:

AI is changing the game in marketing and communications, but let’s be clear—it’s not here to replace experts. It’s here to enhance our strategies, streamline workflows, and take creativity to the next level.

From panels to pop-ups, this week is stacked with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and actually talk shop with the folks moving the needle in NOLA. If you’re a business owner or entrepreneur and you’re not plugged in to NOEW… baby, what are you doing?

See you on the scene. Let’s build, brand, and boss up.

TikTok “ban” should’ve taught you something…

Social media is rented space—here today, gone tomorrow. For small business owners and creators who rely on platforms like TikTok to monetize and connect, a ban isn’t just inconvenient; it’s a direct hit to your revenue and audience engagement.

This is why diversifying platforms and implementing a comprehensive channel marketing strategy is non-negotiable. Owning your content and communication channels ensures you always have a way to speak to the audience you’ve worked tirelessly to build, even if your favorite app disappears overnight.

Here’s the reality:
• Email lists? That’s your safety net.
• Website traffic? That’s YOURS to control.
• Cross-platform presence? That’s future-proofing your business.

Social media platforms will come and go, but the effort you put into creating direct, ownable relationships with your audience will always pay off.

So, how are those email lists looking?

🌟 2025 Social Media Trends to Watch 🌟

The social media landscape is ever-evolving, and 2025 is shaping up to be no exception! Here are the top trends I’m predicting will dominate the year ahead:

1️⃣ Authenticity First
Polished and curated feeds are out; real, unfiltered content is in. Audiences crave transparency and authenticity, so let your brand’s true personality shine!

2️⃣ AI-Powered Content
From personalized recommendations to chatbot customer service, AI is taking content marketing to the next level. It’s time to embrace tools that streamline your processes and enhance your strategy.

3️⃣ Community Over Followers
Brands will focus more on building meaningful online communities rather than chasing follower counts. Engaging and interactive experiences will reign supreme.

4️⃣ Video is STILL King
Short-form videos like Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts will continue dominating the algorithm. But don’t sleep on live streams and long-form storytelling—both will see a comeback!

5️⃣ Shoppable Social
E-commerce integrations are evolving, making it easier than ever to shop directly through social platforms. If your brand isn’t set up for social shopping, now’s the time to dive in.

6️⃣ Sustainability & Social Good
Audiences are increasingly drawn to brands that stand for something meaningful. Highlight your sustainability efforts and community impact authentically in 2025.

💌 Exciting news! I’m launching a newsletter where I’ll dive deeper into trends like these and share actionable tips to help you stay ahead in the ever-changing digital world.
