Upcoming Public Dark Dining Projects Events in NYC http://www.darkdiningprojects.com/calendar.htm

Arriving to a warm welcome and a few words of orientation, guests don blindfolds and are guided to their tables. Savoring the sensuous flavors, smells and textures, guests are challenged to tease out the mysteries of the menu. Between courses, unexpectedly vivid performances capture the senses; artists might include a tap dancer, a virtuosic vocalist, a flamenco guitarist, or . . . ? Enormously successful in New York City and elsewhere, Dana Salisbury’s Dark Dining Projects has won raves from diners and the media alike, appearing in places like Time Out NY, USA Today, The New York Times, The Village Voice, Daily News, Newsday, AM New York, and Theatre Journal. An Edible Manhattan cover story, it has been seen widely on TV, including ABC and NBC, and the web. Clients include Benjamin Moore, International Flavors and Fragrances, Kellogg’s, Nike, Proctor and Gamble, Smart Design, YPO, and Johnson and Johnson. Venues include Camaje Bistro, the Art Beyond Sight conference held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC in 2007, the KO Festival of Performance in Amherst, MA in 2008, and The Science Gallery of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, in 2010.
