While I agree with the fundamental truth of how many hugely talented artists there are out there, and always have been historically (since at least early cave paintings), putting a round number on just how many is impossible. Nor is it important to know who you have and have not heard of. Suffice to say, the number that exists is vast and beyond any single person's ability to say.
