Construction is nearing completion on the 64e4 Cultural Center Expansion in New York's East Village. The project expands the building footprint to double the theater cooperative's lobby, removing existing barriers separating upper and lower theater access. The newly unified street floor space & facade will accommodate a larger public and provide a new identity for the 64e4, which is comprised of three companies: (Teatro Circulo, IATI Theater, and Paradise Factory). The project is scheduled to open this summer.

Bomb Squad at the halfway point.

After topping out this past December, the new NYPD Bomb Squad Operations Center has reached the 50% mark in the construction process. The upper-level robot shop, training and administrative facilities envelope is fully framed and currently being enclosed. Next steps include pouring the ground level apparatus slab & walls and installing a pleated rainscreen surround above.
