Curator of Gardens & Grounds Phil Riske wants YOU to join us for this special garden tour: REMARKABLE TREES OF THE HERMITAGE

On Saturday, November 7th (2-4pm), he’ll take you around the property to explore the history and uses of several tree varieties.

Don’t fret, it’s a casual walking tour so all you need are some comfy shoes! While you’re here, you can also view our latest exhibition inside the Museum before or after the tour.

For , we'd like to highlight Nikko Knapp-Castillo of Cactus Moon Trading. Nikko's background in Lakota and Latino communities has inspired her artwork, including hand-woven scarves, intricate jewelry, and much more!

She was one of eight artists in residency at The Goode Family Visual Arts School this summer in collaboration with our Handwork at the Hermitage exhibition. We are happy to showcase her beadwork at our upcoming Artists in Residence Reception on Friday, October 23 from 6-9pm.
