Last week at PACE, we had a paint-out at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park and found the perfect spot for some plein air painting. I painted this watercolor using water straight from the creek I was painting!
Today, we stopped by the frame shop to get some artwork matted and framed, and before I could even pick out a frame, this piece sold! A huge thank you to the special buyer who has always been so kind and helpful at our frame shop!

I’ve got some exciting news to share—my self-portrait was selected for the Mountain Home High School Fine Arts Fest Winners Exhibition AND placed 2nd in the Portrait Category! 🎉✏️

The reception is Thursday, May 21 from 4–6 PM at The Sheid Gallery (2nd floor), and it’s free and open to the public.

If you’re around, come hang out and check out all the awesome student artwork—there will be paintings, drawings, pottery, and so much more. It’s going to be a really fun mix of creativity and talent!

It would mean a lot to see some familiar faces there, and I’d love to meet you if I haven’t already 😊

Plein Air Convention Plein Air Convention Attendees What a great time at my first PACE! Wow, that was amazing. I now know why most return. And I can't wait for next year!
