Thought these beautiful figurines deserved their own post. Plus some backstory on them. They came from a client who once worked at Disney. Produced in the 1950’s the Disney archives stated that 90% of sets were broken upon arrival and Goebel sent someone over to repair them so they would be able to be sold for opening day! So while these maybe have been repaired (professionally) know that it’s the case with most of them. Plus they were definitely a special item for the opening of Disneyland. We definitely have come across a lot of bakers racks in the years of doing estate sales. But this one has to be my favorite. First I love the smaller size of it, and that ornate trim!!! UPDATE TO ENTRY TIME!! You can now arrive at 9am for the sale, no earlier though! But you must just say you are going to the address listed in the ad. If you say you are there for the Estate Sale they will make you turn around and wait till 10am when the sale starts. .

Someone had eagle eyes and spotted this in the background of another pic. So of course it had to have its own post. This vintage velvet tufted headboard and matching bench set, I literally let out a gasp when I first saw it. It needs some cleaning but it’s definitely worth it with this set.
