Announcing the 2024 Easter Art Show Theme!

"Whom Say Ye that I am?"

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks his disciples who others say that he is. After their various answers, he asks a second question: “Whom say ye that I am?” Peter answers with a powerful statement of faith. This poignant question gave Peter the chance to declare his personal witness of the Savior. Now we pose this question to you.

Who do you say Jesus is? What does He mean to you? What could you create that will capture Christ’s role in your life or in the world around you?

Perhaps you already have a piece that conveys His healing power, His infinite forgiveness or His great majesty. Or this could be a chance to dig deep and ponder what that would look like.

Accepted art will be on display at the Mormon Trail Center March 15th through April 5th, 2024. The submission form is open now and will be accepted through Feb 10th, 2024. Click LEARN MORE for updated Eligibility and Rules.

And that's a wrap, my friends! We had an excellent response and turnout to the show. We couldn't have done it without all of our talented artists. Thank you to all who extended yourselves and let us see your souls on display.

We are looking ahead to next year and would like to get things moving right away! If you are interested and available to help make this show successful next year, please message me with your email address and we'll be in touch very soon. We'll need people to help craft a new theme, advertise in your own geographical areas, help with social media/email lists, etc. We're looking for those who can reach out to other faiths and art communities to participate, and generally spread the word and share the joy. We have big dreams if we have enough hands to help out! Come dream with us and make it happen!

We had a great turnout on Easter Weekend! We saw lots of families and met some new friends. There's only one more day left for the show, so plan your visit for Friday, April 14th, from 10am to 6pm. Artists will pick up their work on Saturday the 15th from 3pm to 5pm, and then we'll be busy planning for next year!

Plan a visit this weekend to the Easter Art Show! We'll be open from 10am to 6pm this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Date night, family activity or Sunday sanity saver, any way you get here, we'll be ready. There are "I Spy" activities for kids, so there's no reason to stay home. See you then!

It's so close! We have been very pleased with the response and quality of our local artists. We hope you'll come out and show them some love. The Opening reception is this Friday and the show will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through April 14th.

REMINDER! Bring your artwork to the Trail Center (located at 3215 State St, Omaha, NE 68112) this Saturday, March 18th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm

If you have two dimensional work, make sure it arrives ready to hang. This means there is wire hardware on the back of the piece, mounted to the canvas, frame, or panel of the artwork.

If you are unable to drop off your work during the intake window, please send us a message with the time in which you intend to deliver the artwork to the Trail Center. They can accept it during open hours daily from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and will have the waiver form ready for you to sign at drop off.

When you arrive at the Trail Center to deliver the artwork you will sign a waiver form accepting liability.
