This photo from the archives is dated 1940 and is of Dairy Dell which was a popular place for milkshakes and ice cream back in the day. It was located at Ridge and Pearl. Long gone but there are still great places to grab a frosty treat when Mother Nature turns the heat up. Dairy Queen, Zero Zest, Honey Hut and Braysons to name a few.

Ridgewood Garden Club of Parma ladies were back removing the w**ds along side the Gibbs house, at the historic sign and planted a new little spirea bush by our mailbox. Thanks Louann and Roseann for your continued w**d pulling efforts! Your help at Stearns Homestead is much appreciated!

Tours of the Historic Cleveland Grays Armory Museum, 1893 Romanesque Style building with exhibits showcasing the military heritage of Cleveland. Live musical entertainment, including a vintage theatre Wurlitzer Pipe Organ and a Civil War Song vocalist. Old fashioned games with prizes for the children.
