So excited to announce that our next pop up exhibition will be in collaboration with and their Black Box series. Future Flower Collective is introducing our Pop-Up Installation Series, Bloom, an immersive and ever-evolving showcase exclusively featuring artists from Philadelphia. For this installation we will be exclusively featuring Black Q***r artists. With a rotating lineup of 10+ multidisciplinary artists, this exhibition is a celebration of Black q***r creativity, resilience, and expression.

Tomorrow is the day!! We will be starting the night with a pop up exhibition to celebrate our Relaunch featuring 10+ Philadelphia based artists. The pop up exhibition will be held from 6 pm - 9 pm at Asian Arts Initiative. To cap the night we will be hosting our first installation of Petalverse at Strangelove’s from 10 pm - 2 am with dj’s , , and . Tickets available via eventbrite link or at the door of both events! Tomorrow we will be joined by at our Relaunch Pop up exhibtion. The Sisters Affirming Sisterhood Project will be hosting a free pop up closet providing gender affirming clothing and makeup to trans and nonbinary attendees. If you are in need of new clothing or makeup please feel free to stop by!

Today’s BHM highlight is Zoe Mccants (). McCants is an artist from Norristown, Pa. whose work is centered around storying telling through the medium of photography. She is heavily influenced by Black American Cinema, and calls the viewer to focus on what the subject may be experiencing in their environment. Currently a student studying film at Temple University; she hopes to continuing telling the stories of her community.

Happy Black History Month! In honor of BHM, we will be highlighting some of our favorite Black artists. First artist we will be highlighting is Cassidy Arrington (). Cassidy Arrington is a nonbinary multi-media artist based in and from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Arrington’s artwork centers intimacy, wilderness, and transience in q***r and Black coming of age. Their poetry and photography has been featured in Sinister Wisdom, Yale University Art Gallery, WORD Performance Poetry at Yale, Lenscratch, Healing Verse Poetry Line, and more. Arrington graduated from Yale College with a BA in Ethnicity, Race, & Migration Studies in 2023, and in 2024, they became a resident artist at the TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image and the Painted Bride Art Center.
