A three part commission for an Arts & Crafts style Belfast, Maine residence. I’ve been inspired by the work of the 20th Century Architect George Washington Maher for some time now, and wanted to incorporate an empty linear feel, reminiscent of his style. Light has a way of telling stories long after the glass is set.

I’m honored that my stained glass work became part of a home recently featured by Architectural Digest - from 7 foot tall pocket doors opening into the library off the foyer, an oval window in a hidden bathroom, to a master bedroom balcony window that quietly glows along the towpath after dark, the stained glass details and other bespoke features make Chez Rago an truly special place.

To see these pieces living not just inside the home, but reaching outward into the landscape, is deeply meaningful. Grateful for the vision, the collaboration, and the trust behind this beautiful project.

It’s been such a pleasure to be involved in the restoration and remodeling work over at 46 York Street. We worked together to create new embellishments with antique materials, as a testament to both the time period of the home and modern rejuvenation.

Our last project pictured above, was a retrofit for a c.1910 stained glass transom window. My brilliant client sourced the perfect antique window for the space- I added new borders utilizing found antique glass in order to grow the panel and allow it to fit into the new opening. We boxed out, installed and finished with molding to create this beautiful interior transom accent.

Custom design & fabrication of four English style transom windows for a Belfast, Maine residence ~ My client has a small collection of Antique English leaded glass windows, and requested I design something that would pull the same feel into their newly renovated kitchen / dining area. A big thank you to the Kilmoon family for commissioning me to create this beautiful stained glass window for their new kitchen addition. The glass and certain design elements were inspired by existing windows in their Victorian home. We incorporated the crescent moon as a testament to the surname, and 5 stars in the medallion representing each member of the family - sincerely grateful 🙏🏼 ✨
