Yesterday, Drexel Architecture Drexel Westphal students in Professor David Beker’s class unveiled their chair projects at The Lawn at uCity Square. What began as a single piece of plywood was turned into a functional piece of furniture over the course of the semester. The chairs will be displayed at The Lawn over the next few weeks. Another successful Take Your Kid to Work Day in the books! Last month, hundreds of parents, guardians, and kids joined us at uCity Square for a day of learning, exploration, and fun.

Drexel SCIS welcomed 375 participants and sponsors to the 13th annual Philly Codefest last month. The software hackathon received 78 team project submissions, and teams competed for $12,250 in prizes from Drexel SCIS and event sponsors.
