The real men of steel - ironworkers!

This ultimate selfie was shot from the crane that had just finished installing the final piece of Superman: The Escape at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 1996.

Special thanks to Harold Hudson for donating his construction photos of this iconic (sadly, now retired) coaster to the museum.

Think you would have the guts to stand on that small beam, 400+ feet in the air?

It's been a busy 2025 - all thanks to YOU!

With your support, we've been able to preserve Kingda Ka, Nighthawk, La Vibora, Canobie Corkscrew, Iron Wolf and the first of six(!) shipments from Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, Inc. and we're just getting started.

Later this month, we'll also be announcing our 2026 special event dates, so you can plan your visit here and see just what we've been up to.

If you'd like to support our mission and efforts on this , we'd love to count you as a friend of the museum. We know there are plenty of worthy causes out there, so we appreciate any support we get from fans and the industry as a whole. 💓
