Help us kick off our Juneteenth Celebration with a special Flag Raising Ceremony at the historic Bing Rooming House Museum!

In collaboration with our Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Center, this gathering will honor history, celebrate culture, and begin a month of community and unity. All are welcome to attend!

National Train Day is May 9th, 2026
We pay tribute to the Railroad Porters.
Plant City is home to a number of blacks who served passengers in the railcars (food, luggage, etc). Most notably was the late Dr. O.A. Joyner who worked his way through medical school as a railroad porter based in Plant City.

MUSEUM CONFERENCE HOSTED IN PLANT CITY!
Plant City Bing Rooming House Museum was proud to host the FAAHPN Museum Conference March 24-27, 2026.
32 Museums throughout the State of Florida were represented. Training and workshops were held along with a "Meet the Historians" Social at Propagation Thursday 5pm to 630pm.
(Private - 4pm to 5pm).
