I’ve always loved art, even as a kid. My parents still laugh (and maybe groan a little) about how I would “play” with my food at the dinner table—sauces became paint, noodles became lines, and vegetables became shapes for my very own plate masterpieces. It drove them nuts, but I guess it was just my creative side showing early on! Art class was always my favorite subject in school (let’s just say
math and I were never close friends). I still remember my high school art classmates crowding around our art teacher, Mrs. B, as she demonstrated shading a simple sphere. With just a few strokes, something came from nothing—and I was amazed! It now reminds me of God’s creation, how He spoke beauty into existence out of nothing. For me, art is a chance to reflect my Creator. I started with acrylics, but watercolor stole my heart. It’s effortless, unpredictable, and free-flowing. The way color and water move, feels a lot like grace, finding its place exactly where it’s meant to be. Painting has become my favorite way to worship. Through my artwork, I hope you see God’s love, feel His presence, and are reminded of the hope we have in Him alone. Nothing in this world can satisfy our weary and thirsty hearts like the Living Water of Christ. My prayer is that these paintings don’t simply decorate your walls but minister to your spirit, drawing you closer to the only One who saves. Thank you for being here!
