Registration starts at 9:00 AM

Dog Show Competition at 10:00 AM

Categories include large, medium, small dog, puppy, and most patriotic costume. Entry fee is $5 per category.

It is easy to say you support something but this is a chance to truly make your voice mean something. If you can come please do, what is an hour or so out of your day? Your presence can only strengthen the effort that Grow Our Downtown Poplar Bluff is putting into making our Downtown vibrant and viable again!

🚨Representatives from the Missouri Main Street Connection will be in town on Thursday, April 30.🚨🚨

This will be a two hour, in-person visit which is part of our Grow Our Downtown, Inc. application for the MMSC Community Empowerment Grant. This is a two year matching service grant that will help our downtown district establish revitalization programs and receive hands-on training to foster economic development. GO Downtown is inviting you to join us at Rodgers Theatre for a one hour presentation to MMSC which will include information about the district, key people involved, needs, etc. This presentation will follow a one hour “walk-about” in the Poplar Bluff downtown district.
Your attendance would be appreciated to demonstrate community interest and support.

Please excuse this gentleman's language, obviously he never had his mouth washed out with soap and it shows. We will continue to put these people out there so that hopefully other downtown establishments will recognize them and if they have the issues we do with vandalism and loitering they will report it. Our downtown is the heartbeat of our community and when those that chose to freeload and vandalize run rampant then our community will suffer the consequences.

Thank you to everybody that came out and helped us today. You made a big big difference and your gratitude is very well appreciated. We had planned on doing this for two days because we honestly didn't think we would get a lot of response but thankfully we got enough done today that tomorrow we are canceling the cleanup day so again thank you everybody for all your help. It was greatly appreciated and went well above and beyond anything we had hoped for!

Just a friendly reminder we are asking for anyone who can come volunteer some time this weekend to come see us. We will open at 10am and work till around 2pm unless everyone wants to go longer. Same thing on Sunday. We will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone helping so come out and help if you can!

Bring your kids and believing adults alike to the museum today from 10am till 2pm. Santa will be here for pictures. Good news is that he checked his list and he did not have to bring any lumps of coal ahead of Christmas!
