The Bluewater Shore Herb Guild The guild meets once a month, April through November in Port Sanilac, MI. Newcomers are welcome to join us in the study of herbs and their uses.

The guild and the herb garden at the Sanilac County Historical Museum were established in 1994 by Lila Baker. We continue to maintain the garden today, as well as help with the garden at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Our season includes plant exchanges, fieldtrips, demonstrations, workshops and herb boutiques. Our guild meets April to November on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6pm at Bark Shanty in Port Sanilac. Each month we study a different herb. We also maintain the herb garden at the museum. Have workshops and provide a scholarship to a graduating Sanilac county senior with an interest in herbs. Either culinarily or agriculturally. Through the Sanilac County Community Foundation. Spring is here and we've been working on our herb garden at the Sanilac County Historical Village and Museum. You can often find us there on Fridays before the farmers market opens. Our meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:00pm at Bark Shanty. Drop us a pm to let us know if you're coming, or if you have any questions.
