The Museum of Beadwork is open on this beautiful Juneteenth and our new exhibit, Piercing the Silence: Everyday Art of the Resistance is a great way to celebrate. Today's image is by Fileve Tlaloc and titled "Repatriations".
Come see this work and the incredible collection in person Thursdays - Saturdays 10-5, and Sundays 12-4.
The exhibit's purpose is to unveil the value of craftivism, resistance, and protest artworks and the people who created them. As for many, art is used to express a person’s inner emotions and as a way to externalize a lived experience. This exhibit will be on view until April 2027.

Piercing the Silence: Everyday Art of Resistance, is a brand new exhibition opening this weekend, June 18th. Come see this incredible collection in person Thursdays- Saturdays 10-5 and Sundays 12-4.
