Not something I would typically share on my business page but I wanted to keep my small business personal & fill you in with some news.

As some of you may know I have brain cancer.
Today brought news I wasn’t hoping for, and we’re processing a change in my treatment plan. It’s heavy, but we’re taking things one step at a time.

In the weeks ahead, I’ll be facing surgery followed by a new path forward. While this isn’t the road I would’ve chosen, I’m trusting God as each next step unfolds.

As both an artist and a human, this season continues to shape me. Creating has always been a place of peace for me, and as I’m able, I would love to continue sharing my watercolor work. Continuing to create will also help support upcoming medical expenses and living costs as we adjust to this new chapter. Your support—through prayers, kind words, or supporting my art—means more than you know.

All of my watercolor art work is still individualized and all started back in March of last year as I was healing from my first surgery.

Thank you for your continued grace and understanding. Holding onto hope and taking this one day at a time. 🤍

Feeling so grateful today 💛 Two old school friends recently reached out asking if I could make them some of my homemade watercolor cards — and it absolutely made my day! 🖌️🎨💌

It’s such a special feeling when people from your past support something you love doing. Knowing they were happy with their purchases just fills my heart. Thank you both for believing in my little creative hobby and turning it into something even more meaningful. 🌸✨

🪡The 80th birthday card is based on a quilt a granddaughter is making for her Mémère.

🖍️The Elmo card was personalized for a little girl who loves Elmo and Legos. (Elmo, who loves crayons, spelled her name out in crayons.)

🌿The last card is for a wedding a coworker is attending, based on the save-the-date.

T swift isn’t the only one releasing new stuff. I’ve been on a bit of a break since the art walk due to my treatment, but I’m back & getting started on some new stuff! Pumpkin spice has also given me permission to release my first set of Autumn cards!

What a successful First Friday Art Walk! It was a pleasure to participate in such a well-attended event. Both my mother and I experienced significant sales throughout the evening and appreciated the support of numerous special guests. A warm welcome and sincere gratitude are extended to my new followers and prospective clients. I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with several attendees, which added to the evening's enjoyment. I look forward to repeating this experience in September. Thank you again for making this evening so successful; it truly means a great deal to me that my work is appreciated and that people take the time to visit. 🥰🎨🖌️

Today marks the day of the event! According to our weather forecast, we can expect a delightful day filled with sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows. We cordially invite you to join us at the First Friday Art Walk in Portland, where our exhibit will be located along Congress Street.
As soon as we finalize our setup, ***we will provide a more specific location on this post***
Our planned arrival time is between 3:45-4 p.m., and we are thrilled to participate in this event. We would be delighted if you could join us for a wonderful evening.
