Two Dear Friends who have seen me walk my art path for many years had a glorious store called Musings. These images are from over 10 years ago of my art in their store. Thank you, Leigh Anne for sharing these with me!
Some of this style I certainly still do as I just enjoy it so much. I also see how much I do that is different. Love how with art one can change, return, go forward, stay...all of it.

I was so appreciative to do 3 of the signs on this McCarthy Plaza sign.
* Legacy
* Kokopelli
* At Home In Taos.

All either modeled off of current signage or a combination of colors and ideas from those requesting the signs. It was fun.
We will be painting in the half blossom look at the top of the sign soon.

This is an old velvet cushion for a great Bungalow style seat that now sits in Legacy Cafe in Taos. I'll find a good picture of the entire area.
I tell you it was so fun painting on velvet. No, I won't be painting the wonderful Elvis or the like on velvet. But I do want to paint on more fabrics that is for sure. Each flower has about a dozen layers of paint. This is because the paint "sinks in" so to get the colors I wanted I had to keep layering.
