Introducing “pupcasso” paintings! We are now offering your pet the chance to create their own work of art! This 5x5 canvas will be sealed in a bag with drops of paint of your choosing, and a tasty peanut butter spread will be on the top of the bag for your dog to enjoy. As they lick the yummy peanut butter the paint will smear underneath, creating a unique work of art from your very own pup. Completely safe for the dog, and a fun way for your pet to engage in activities while making you a little keepsake in the process! Personalizations are optional. We will now be bringing this creative interactive activity to future events (location permitting).

I’m making and selling turtle pet beds in Racine. They are perfect for cats and small dogs. I might be able to play around with sizes if you’re interested. But bigger sizes means more yarn so it will be a bit higher priced. I can also make them without the turtle for a little less and can customize colors. I’ll be donating $5 to local animal shelters for every bed sold and will be making beds to donate with extra scrap yarn as well! I cannot work much because of my disabilities, so I’m trying to find a way to cover bills and help out the shelters at the same time.

Here is a little peek into my process while painting pet portraits. I take the original photo, sketch it out on canvas (sometimes with a bit of help from transfer paper), then I start by painting the background, then the body, and finishing with the face and all the small details. Commissions are still open!
