In this fusion of impressionism and surrealism, I’ve meshed dreamlike whimsy with textured reality! With broad acrylic and oil strokes, I captured my silhouette dissolving into the iconic backdrop of a beloved locale, embodying the transient joy and ephemeral nature of life’s moments.

The locale is the famous (Brasserie de l’Isle Saint Louis), located at 55 Quai de Bourbon in Paris. The food and atmosphere are amazing.

After many stressful weeks, I needed to clear my head. There is no better place than sitting at a Parisian café.

In this painting, I’ve melded the vibrancy of acrylics with the depth of oils to craft a dreamscape where reality dissolves into the whimsical streets of Paris.

Through the blend of impressionism and surrealism, I’ve aimed to capture the ephemeral nature of memories and the disorientation of longing. It’s a tribute to the moments that linger in the mind long after they’ve passed, veiled in a haze of emotions and time.

Inviting this piece into your home is like opening a window to a world where the heart speaks in colors and the soul dances in the reflections of quaint cafe tables.

In this work, I’ve delved into the realm of surrealism, merging the organic with the synthetic. My body, draped in a gentle hue, encapsulates the vulnerability of waiting, punctuated by the vibrant outgrowths, signifying life’s unexpected twists.

This juxtaposition invites viewers to contemplate resilience amidst uncertainty. Envision this piece infusing your space with introspection and a touch of the unexpected, elevating the atmosphere with its rich texture and thought-provoking imagery.

In this oil painting, I’ve delved into the surreal to capture the essence of internal struggles. The caged head symbolizes my headaches and migraines which continue being part of my life. I feel like putting my head in a cage and feed me healthy food (the orange from my organic garden) while pondering about the provenance of those migraines.

Layering vivid hues, I evoke a dream-like atmosphere that transcends reality. It’s a visual narrative of confinement and hope within the psyche, inviting the observer to reflect on personal barriers and resilience.

In this oil painting, I explore the surreal, weaving emotion with nature’s beauty at one of my favorite places on Earth: World’s End in Hingham, Massachusetts. I have taken you to this place with art in the past.

A contrast of indoor serenity against the wild, limitless outdoors evokes a yearning for freedom. It’s an imaginative leap into a world where the familiar feels enigmatic, stirring a sense of mystery and wonder to everyday views.

This piece exudes with vibrant energy, destined to infuse any space with spirited curiosity and a dash of the unexpected.
