Organized with Beauty, LLC Creating peaceful spaces in your home by organizing with form and function in mind

A cardboard box is perfect too AND it easy to drop off at donation centers. But if yours is pretty enough, leave it out in the open. Mine is in our laundry room. 🙂

Sad moments for our family this week — but my sister-in-law is no longer dealing with cancer. Heaven is her home now. May God’s glory be displayed even now through her life, her legacy, and the ones she’s left behind. 💛

Getting to know people’s stories and making their lives easier is why I love my work! 💛 I’m grateful for these opportunities for connection!

Confession: I am a professional organizer with a corner that keeps falling apart.

Not because I’m lazy (ok, maybe a little 😅)— but I noticed the same things kept floating around with no home: clothes I peel off in the dark, books I’m working through, shoes I actually wear.

Turns out the fix wasn’t discipline. It was noticing the patterns and making space for the way I live!

Is there a corner in your house that keeps “happening”?

Had some help on this one! 🐾

If a kid can’t seem to put their toys away, consider how far “away” actually is.

In this house, the toy storage was in one room, but the kids played two rooms over. So cleaning up wasn’t one step — it was a trip. For a little kid, that can be hard.

Kids do have to learn to clean up. But we can meet them partway by making the task small enough to actually finish. Less to put away. A spot that’s close by.

When cleanup is simple, it’s more likely to happen for both kids AND adults! 😁

It feels like stuff can get lost in your corner cabinets. A store-bought lazy susan is one of my favorite simple fixes. Have you tried this in yours?

Reminiscing this Mother’s Day since the empty nest is looming. Thankfully I have another year still since my youngest is a high school junior and my oldest is home this summer (he was gone all of last summer)…

Happy Mother’s Day!

One of the easiest ways to save a little space!

It’s funny how we hold onto things in our closets out of obligation — even when we don’t like them, even when they’re awkward or uncomfortable to wear. Sometimes we cringe every time we see them.

I just tossed a pair of jeans into the donation pile that I hadn’t worn in over a year. They never fit quite right and I never liked how I looked in them — so I kept avoiding them. I held on because I spent good money on them and kept hoping that with time they’d be looser, longer, and a little less fuddy duddy on me. Ha — that’s not usually how it works!

But letting go feels good — and what doesn’t work for us can be a gift for someone else. Honestly, some of my favorite pieces are thrifted. 👋

What’s in your closet that you’ve been avoiding?
