We’d like to share a quick clarification regarding a recently published article about our upcoming museum event.

Unfortunately, the article included information from last year, so some of the details are not accurate for 2026. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th, and it marks our 7th annual celebration.

We are excited to once again offer this event free of charge for all attendees. This year’s theme is Survival, and we’re looking forward to sharing a variety of engaging experiences connected to that topic.

More details about the event and its offerings will be announced as we get closer to the date. We hope you’ll join us!

Take a step back in time with a sneak peek of a few pages from Chapter 7 of Images of America: St. Cloud!

Did you know Tenvoorde Ford became just the second Ford dealership in 1903, and today is the oldest Ford dealership in the world? It’s an incredible piece of local history that’s still going strong.

We’re especially grateful to Tenvoorde Ford for being one of the generous sponsors of our upcoming 1970s Car Show on June 4th. Their continued support helps bring our community’s history to life in meaningful ways.

Want more stories like this? Be sure to pick up your copy of Images of America: St. Cloud, and don’t miss the chance to see some classic cars in person at the show!

A new chapter in St. Cloud history has arrived!

Images of America: St. Cloud is now available, featuring a rich collection of photographs spanning from the 1850s to the early 2000s. The book highlights the people, industries, neighborhoods, organizations, laborers, and influential figures who helped shape our community over time.

The book is available for purchase at the museum!

And join us this Thursday at the museum, 5-7:30 for a book launch celebration!

Meet the authors, enjoy snacks and drinks, and explore a special display of local artifacts and archival materials featured in the book.

Come share in a night of history as we bring St. Cloud’s past to life!

We had our first Heritage Circle tour of the year last week at Microbiologics in St. Cloud! It was a fascinating learning experience, where our wonderful tour guides told us about the work they do to keep the pharmaceuticals we all use safe and top quality. We also got to visit their robot assistant, Sam!

Special thanks to Tanya for organizing our visit and to Dawn Figgins, Tom Douvier, Sonam Sahni, and Kristen Knox for speaking with us.

Next week is break week here at the museum, allowing for staff to work on exhibit install and to attend the MALHM (Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums) conference. We'll also take the time to do some deep cleaning to get our spaces ready to go for summer! We're still open regular hours tomorrow (Saturday April 25) and then back to public hours Tuesday May 5.
