Thanks to everyone who came out for our 1970s Car Show last night! We had so many great cars, some good tunes, and lots of fun.

Our 70s car show welcomes all vehicles, we'll just be highlighting 70s rides!
Registration is just $10, and the first 50 cars receive a gift bag.

Longest Distance Traveled
Best Backstory

Prizes range from $30 to $100 in value.

Enjoy 70s music, beer from Third Street Brewing, pizza, kids activities, and free admission to the museum.

Happy Pride to all who celebrate! As part of our mission to connect people through the power of history and culture, we work to collect stories, photos, and information about all residents in the county and would welcome you to share your story with us. You can upload photos and stories on our website at https://stearnshistorymuseum.org/stories/ or call 320-253-8424 to set up a time to visit with our archivist. History is happening all around us and we hope to hear yours.

As a reminder, the Stearns History Museum is free for all Stearns County residents and we are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm.

What a fantastic group for our latest Fix-It Clinic at Handyman's Hardware ! Thanks to our host and partners as well as all the wonderful volunteer fixers and menders who helped us keep 250 pounds of material out of the landfill.

Thanks as well to Hassan and Sophia from Accurate Languages of Minnesota for being on hand as interpreters for our Somali and Spanish neighbors!

This was our last clinic with Reuse Minnesota and we cannot thank them enough for their guidance and support to get these clinics running in Central MN. We're excited to continue to offer them with Tri County Solid Waste Commission moving forward. Watch for more about our next clinic in August.

Tomorrow, join us at the Stearns History Museum in St. Cloud for a community conversation uncovering how racial covenants were not just an urban phenomenon. We’ll watch a locally produced docuseries on racial covenants in Central Minnesota, and afterwards, you can help us continue to build our map. Please bring a laptop or other device to participate in a community mapping session focused on Stearns County deeds.

This event is co-sponsored by the Great River Covenants Project, Stearns History Museum, and St. Cloud State University.
