Two of the CPKC 250th commemorative locomotives ( #776 and #704) passed through Alice moments ago headed Eastbound. These were created to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States. Much thanks to Ernesto Garza for the heads up. 🤓

Another division of SARHM just started working on the old depot in Floresville, TX. Hopefully soon we’ll be doing the same thing in Alice too!

Come join us today! We’re here at the depot and are going to be working on cleaning out the interior of the trash that has been left inside.

Update on The Katy via the Heritage Units app. looks like it left the Laredo yard about 7:50 p.m. headed East.
