Hello friends,
Here is a snapshot of what I have been working on for all of these past quiet months, (years in some cases). Working with great intentions and dedication, hopes and planning - this has felt like graduate study work, exhausting and fulfilling.
This is a body of work, a series (yes there is even more- of course!), an expression and collection of what is inside me that I want to give out.
A shared experience from me to you.
Creating for me has always been that, something inside me that I need to see realized. Something that just comes to me that I join in on.
In this focus I have written about as well as made visual presentations of positive emotions that I hope will connect with some of you .
I researched and expressed positive feelings and content that joins us together in our shared humanness; our community of sameness. My belief is in the goodness of all of us.
These visual expressions as well as written parallel words can be two different paths to reach out. Two different ways of leaning in, respecting and acknowledging that each of us approaches and enters differently.
In the social media format that is here each week I will share one piece with you in depth and share the research and feelings and content that I have built into it, and I hope it will make you feel less alone, more wholeand connected should you be hungry for that.
My personal and professional goal for this body of work is to get it into public spaces, ideally nursing homes, medical centers, shelters, hospice locations, places where people are more vulnerable and need that extra support. My dreams are always big, my hope is constant.
