We feel so lucky to have hosted a TEDxRainier Post Adventure with MiiR!

The Seismic Thread came up with a "StoryCatching" activity to creatively explore the TEDxRainier 2015 theme "The Space Between" with TEDx attendees. While drawing pictures and continuing conversations spilling over from the thought provoking TEDx talks at McCaw Hall the day before, we created a unique story! Thank you to everyone in the TEDxRainier community for an incredible weekend!

Attendees of the StoryCatching Adventure joined local arts collective The Seismic Thread at the MiiR Flagship store for an afternoon of storytelling.

The Seismic Shake Up is a monthly open mic run by The Seismic Thread and currently hosted at Vermillion Art Gallery and Bar. These events are free and open for all to participate.

To help the creatives in our community connect, we'll post pictures of as many performers as we can with info about their projects. TEDxRainier is the largest TED event in Washington, and they are currently looking for Volunteers to help pull the event together! Volunteers receive FREE admission to the TEDx talks on November 21st. Sign up to volunteer, and mention The Seismic Thread as your referral source in the comment section.

TEDxRainier is run 100% by volunteers across a variety of industries and backgrounds. Some of us work year-round to organize speakers and volunteers, whereas others come in just a few days before and help push this extraordinary event into reality.
