I'm excited to say I Just found out that my painting, "Playing the Blues" has been accepted into the Pastel Artists of Oregon's online show, Spirit of Pastel! The show goes live on the 28th at showsubmit com.

I love to capture the uniqueness of this town of Southport, NC. I took a photo of this lady walking down the street near the waterfront. I thought, she had character that would add interest to a painting. I decided to add her into this 11"x14" pastel painting from a photo provide by Johannes H Vloothuis Art.
