Seeker of Light ~ Catcher of Chords

As a traditional, fine art photographer Charles “Charlie" Tompkins captured light in its natural surroundings with a timeless, ageless beauty. As a photojournalist, he was able to preserve and archive bits of our history for future generations to look upon, and as a lover of music, he honored the culture by recording moments that brought forth some of the legendary musicians of the times.

"Photography is a means of recording ones pilgrimage" - Charles H. Tompkins

" The Collective Canvas" is a new, monthly series of no cost, interactive, creative community workshops and artist demonstrations hosted by local and regional artists.

Sessions are designed to introduce the creative process and its importance and contribution in defining our culture and work collaboratively to remove barriers, support individual and community growth, instigate change and amplify stories. Supporting artists through opportunities to connect, showcase and promote their sacred creativity and inclusivity at home in their community and the art world.

“The Confluence Gallery” Marketplace features a multitude of group and individual exhibits year-round. The term "confluence" implies a coming together such as rivers, art, and people. This unique, collective space serves as community hub and artist, vendor showcase.

Each month from June to November we will feature an artist to discuss and share examples of their technique through hands-on interactive sessions.
