STLCC Florissant Valley Contemporary Art Gallery It is the goal of our art galleries to provide educational tools to our students, and offer spaces to There are between six and eight exhibitions each year.

The Contemporary Art Gallery is an 850 square-foot traditional space on the lower level of the Instructional Resources building (IR-111). The gallery presents two and three-dimensional works in a variety of media throughout the academic year. The work reflects disciplines taught in the art programs, as well as emerging trends, innovative ideas, and performance.

Florissant Valley Contemporary Art Gallery presents "I Get by with a Little Help from My Friends" – a group exhibition in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Please join us for the reception and gallery talk on Thursday March 6, 6:00-8:00pm. On view: February 28 to March 28.
"I Get by with a Little Help from My Friends" is an eclectic exhibition featuring artworks presented by some of the most well know women artists: Jane Sauer, Luanne Rimel, Libby Reuter, Jane Barrow, Erin Vineau-Dimick, Laura Strand, Sun Smith-Forêt, Nancy Newman-Rice, and Kate Anderson.

New exhibition, new theme, new invitation:
Laurie Rousseau presents the "Divine Feminine" solo exhibition at the Florissant Valley Contemporary Art Gallery, an exhibition scheduled for October 2- November 2, 2023. Laurie's paintings seek to express the hidden potential of feminine imagery and celebrate the female form as a creator of life and a connection to the earth. Her most recent artworks are an exploration of the energy of the feminine spirit and its potential for healing, hope, and change.
