This is my right eye taken as a selfie so it's in reverse and was taken it front of a window in my personal space. It's been a while and desired have a new drawing for the 40 year portfolio that wasn't commissioned. I always start with the eyes when doing portraits and I decided to make this one personal and do my own with a reflection of my view..... 🖤✏️

It's been 3 years since I picked up a pencil... ✏️ 16×20 - color added to the bowtie/vest

Thank you to my Aunt & Uncle for this project to bring me back. It was a pleasure to draw my cousin and his wife (as a surprise) marking 6 months of marriage!!

This piece had several aspects I hadn't covered before and I'm so amazed at what God did through me 🖤

Back in August, Daphne Reneé Artistry, LLC was tasked with creating a portrait for my bro/best friend CB Queeley . In honor of one of his best friends, Craig, who was unfortunately killed in 2011, and 9 days after the birth of his daughter.... this was gifted to her in rememberance of him. Thank you for putting this in my hands.

Most challenging aspect: Using 2 different reference photos to create this one...
Most mental work: The shirt
Most rewarding: Hearing the story of how his daughter reacted upon delivery
