Artist Spotlight: Finn Geiger ⭐

Themes of disability, the body and the degenerative nature of time are interwoven into Finn Geiger’s work through the exploration of leaves as a metaphor for human life. These organic materials are unstable, changing in physical form and creating a generative relationship between the artist and material.

Use of ephemeral material creates a new vocabulary for growth through decay that is simultaneously contradictory and expansive. In Geiger’s work, change and precarity are key aspects of the process of creation, rather than destructive.

Sewing leaves into an organic patchwork gives form to labors and ways of being that are rendered invisible in everyday life. Bodies exist, grow, decay and function in ways that are paradoxical. Skeletonized leaves are sewn together with solid leaves to emphasize the intrinsic variability and incongruence with organic life. In Geiger’s work, the boundary between states of life/decay is porous.

Discover Geiger’s work in the “2026 Senior Exhibition,” on view through May 9. Join us in celebrating the artists at a reception on Friday, May 8, 5-7 p.m.

The Warehouse Gallery is free and open to the public.

Artist Spotlight: Juli Muldoon ⭐

Juli Muldoon is an illustrator focused on depicting realistic events in a fun, vibrant way. This can be seen in both her editorial and narrative illustration work. She primarily works in digital art programs with a focus on color, shape and texture in her artwork.

Muldoon is drawn to stories that are relatable and wishes to create those stories for others utilizing bold colors that bring a sense of whimsy to everyday life. Children’s book illustration is Muldoon’s main interest. The picture books and comics that she grew up with have greatly impacted her work today. She hopes to do the same for future generations.

See Muldoon’s work in the “2026 Senior Exhibition,” on view through May 9. Meet some of the artists during a reception on Friday, May 8, 5-7 p.m.

The Warehouse Gallery is free and open to the public.

Kimberley Durden created a 1-minute 2D animation that follows a goofy member of a top-secret organization tasked with keeping the universe intact, who must make a losing baseball team win.

The film mixes 3D environments, 2D matte paintings and visual effects, taking inspiration from “The Owl House” and “Gravity Falls.”

Experience Durden’s work in the “2026 Senior Exhibition,” on view through May 9. Celebrate the artists during a reception on Friday, May 8, 5-7 p.m.

Artist Spotlight: Donniae Collins ⭐

Donniae Collins is a Brooklyn-based creative whose foundation in the performing arts has shaped his deep appreciation for self-expression, which is central to his photographic work. Drawing inspiration from fashion, editorial photography and pop culture, Collins combines his aesthetic sensibility with storytelling to craft immersive visuals.

Through his lens, he explores themes of identity, inviting viewers into worlds that reflect both personal and cultural narratives. From his exploration of self-portraits, he explores masculinity and its nuances.

These images are from a shoot titled “Don Dandy.” The work is a tribute to Black dandyism and the flamboyant men’s fashion of the 1970s, while exploring the idea of expanding what masculinity is allowed to look like. Here, glamour is not positioned as a contradiction to masculinity, but as a form of confidence, power and self-expression.

Black dandyism extends beyond fashion, functioning as a form of resistance, visibility and self-definition. It allows reclaiming identity through style.

Discover Collins’ work in the “2026 Senior Exhibition,” on view May 2 through May 9. A reception will be held Friday, May 8, 5-7 p.m.

The Warehouse Gallery is free and open to the public.
