Architectural Vizualization

Architectural Vizualization Scheffer Studio uses the latest technologies to create compelling virtual walkthroughs, as well as digital and watercolor renderings.

Scheffer Studio was started by Jules Scheffer in1955 in Kansas City. In 1974 he opened an office in Clearwater Florida with 5 employees who rendered everything by hand. Cheri Scheffer - his eldest daughter - worked in management and Ravena Scheffer - his youngest daughter - was his finishing artist until 1977 when she left the studio and freelanced in Colorado, California, and Hawaii, (frequently

teaming up with her father.) By the time the digital age hit Scheffer Studio was already on the cutting edge - as Jules Scheffer had been using analog technology since the 60's with a huge machine (Analog computer) that traced the floor plans and elevations on a horizontal surface and a pen drew out a block out on a vertical screen above. By 1985 he was exploring computer graphics and producing digital renderings. Ravena followed his lead in the mid 90"s and began to bring her talents to the digital world. Meantime, Jules retired in 2003 and died in 2006. In 2012 Ravena reopened Scheffer Studio and is commissioned to do both digital and watercolor renderings.
