๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ As we prepare to welcome The Wall That Heals to Downriver, we honor and remember PFC Richard Dennis Kaminski of Lincoln Park, Michigan. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

PFC Kaminski is memorialized on Panel 17E, Line 20 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Army with Company A, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Vietnam.

On March 22, 1967, while serving in Pleiku Province, PFC Kaminski was reported missing in action and was later declared deceased as a result of burns sustained during combat operations.

He was laid to rest at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Southgate, Michigan.

PFC Kaminski answered his nationโ€™s call with courage and sacrifice during one of the most difficult chapters in our nationโ€™s history. His service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ As we prepare to welcome The Wall That Heals to Downriver, we honor and remember PFC Eli Wayne Nichols of Lincoln Park, Michigan. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

PFC Nichols is memorialized on Panel 5E, Line 35 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Marine Corps with Company C, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

On February 14, 1966, while returning from an operation in Quang Nam Province, the amphibious vehicle carrying PFC Nichols struck a mine and burst into flames, claiming the lives of nine Marines and one Army of the Republic of Vietnam soldier.

He was laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan.

PFC Nichols answered his nationโ€™s call with courage and sacrifice during one of the most difficult chapters in our nationโ€™s history. His service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

PFC Powers is memorialized on Panel 5E, Line 7 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Army with A Company, 502nd Aviation Battalion, 12th Aviation Group, U.S. Army Vietnam.

On February 5, 1966, while off duty in Vinh Long City, PFC Powers was critically wounded during a terrorist bombing attack that claimed the lives of two fellow soldiers, and he succumbed to his wounds the following day, February 6, 1966.

He was laid to rest at Mountain View Memory Park in Lakewood, Washington.

PFC Powers answered his nationโ€™s call with courage and sacrifice during one of the most difficult chapters in our nationโ€™s history. His service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

SP4 Kosakowski is memorialized on Panel 3E, Line 82 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. He served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer (Airborne Qualified) and was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division.

While serving in the Republic of Vietnam, SP4 Kosakowski lost his life on November 17, 1965, as the result of hostile small arms fire while missing in action.

He was laid to rest at Oak View Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan.

SP4 Kosakowski answered his nationโ€™s call with courage and dedication during one of the most difficult chapters in our nationโ€™s history. His service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Honored to march today in the 100th Annual Dearborn Memorial Day Parade in support of The Wall That Heals โ€“ Taylor, MI. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, we walk to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and to help ensure their stories are never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone supporting our mission of remembrance, education, and healing as we prepare to welcome The Wall That Heals to Taylor this August.
