๐ง๏ธโ๏ธ Following last nightโs storm, our Department of Public Works crews are out across Tybee Island clearing debris, removing downed limbs, and helping keep our roads and public spaces safe and accessible.
Our team works hard to maintain the Cityโs drainage system, and residents can help, too! Please take a few moments to check storm drains near your property and clear away any leaves, debris, or obstructions that could prevent proper drainage.
We also ask everyone to avoid blowing grass clippings, leaves, or yard debris into the street. These materials can clog storm drains, contribute to localized flooding, and impact water quality in our marshes and waterways.
Together, we can help keep Tybee flowing smoothly during storm season. ๐
Please use caution around Public Works crews and give them plenty of space as they continue cleanup efforts throughout the day.
๐ Always working for you.
