All Louisiana State Historic Sites will be closed through Monday, Jan. 26. Historic sites located in north Louisiana will remain closed until conditions improve and utilities have been restored.

We will close at 12pm Sunday 1/25/26 and will open Tuesday 1/27/26 due to possibility of an ice storm.

Come join us Friday morning 1/2/26 for our First Day Hike Garden stroll, through our historic 195 year old gardens. It starts at 10am and is a guided walk through the gardens. We will meet at the gift shop and walk about a mile maybe a little more on pea gravel paths. We will make a few stops along the way talking about the history of Rosedown and plants that we see along the way. Hope to see you there! Garden fees apply.

Spider Lilies are out! Sasanqua camillia’s are starting to bloom so get ready for the pink pathway for pictures! Butterfly on the Gomphrena and Lilies!! In the next few weeks fall color will be planted, so come on out and enjoy the weather:)
