Alcanzando METAS Foundation Alcanzando Metas is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit foundation that provides educational and career development services for Hispanic young women.

Since its founding in the winter of 2006, the foundation has established a series of programs focused first on the educational needs of Hispanic young women in the District of Columbia. The world needs more women leaders. We will seek to develop women leaders by strengthening their sense of empowerment. Mission :
The Alcanzando Metas Foundation aims to help young Hispanic/Latino and language mino

rity women succeed in the 21st century. The foundation looks at the career success of these women as a cycle which begins with academic achievements and completion of high school, progressing to admission to college and obtaining a degree, and ending with entry into professional career fields. The foundation aims to help these young women enhance their leadership, thinking, communication, and personal management skills as they prepare to become productive citizens for the global, high-tech American economy of the 21st century. Photos have been taken by Adelina Perez del Castillo she is a professional photographer with more than 15 years of experience. Si se pudo! 🇸🇻👩‍🎓💙 yo girl graduated with her B.A., achieved Summa Cum Laude, got inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, received the "T" pin award, and ate at the Board of Trustees table and took up space to advocate for my peers! The journey was long and hard but I accomplished my goal. I FINALLY achieved it.

Cheers 🍾🥂 to all my fellow Salvadorian and Central American scholars breaking barriers and creating a path for our future generations.

Congrats

Este dicho tan popular – basado en la adaptación de un relato profético de Mujámmad, el mensajero del islam – pocos saben su significado y el objetivo de estas tres cosas mencionadas;

Ms. Drain I see you are doing a lot. You have a lot of great things going for yourself. Some day I wish to achieve as many as yourself. Thank you for all things you have done for me.

I know that a lot of the things you do come from your heart and I think that's why I didn't mind spending the lunch hour at Wilson High School and my free period with you and the Alcanzando Metas / New Heights program. You are a great person and the world needs many more like yourself. You always said if I ever needed anything that I could come to you.

Thanks If you never stopped me that day in the hallway to join you I probably would have dropped out...Thank you for that...and you helped me in so many other ways.I just can't say thank you enough.

I went to Everest for medical assisting graduated 2010 Summa Cum Laude of my class.

I want to help students to succeed
