Cold days are ahead! ❄️ I can feel myself entering cozy, calm, hibernation mode. Unfortunately my little kids aren't getting that vibe. 😆

My kids and I went to Palmer this morning, and the alpenglow was ✨️glorious.✨️
Its one of the things that makes winter bearable up here in Alaska.

So long, so long, our long-necked friends! We'll see you again when the winter ends!
When the buds grow thick upon the trees, we'll hear you riding on the breeze.

I'm not a big Halloween person myself. But when someone commissions a doctor ghost, the answer is absolutely! 😆

Post-nap reading time is a treasured time in our home. I'm bound and determined to raise a couple bookworms. 📚

I hope our love grows old
with grey hairs and smile creases
around the mouth
So when people see
us walking through the park
hand in hand
they’ll see a couple
who spent a lifetime laughing
and enjoying each other’s company

2 years ago, I decided I wasn't busy enough with my 2 year old and my 2 month old, and decided to try to start a page to sell artwork.

It has been such a sweet and rewarding experience. I'm thankful for everyone who has supported me along the way, and for those watching my artwork change and improve.

Here is a repaint of one of the first paintings I sold 2 years ago. ❤️

His uniform is knitted from a bit of woolen thread,
A mushroom cap sits proudly as a helmet on his head.
He does not fear the vacuum, nor the broom that sweeps the floor,
He stands a guard at midnight by the pantry’s heavy door.
