UPCOMING MEETING NOTICE!
DATE: APRIL 18TH
TOPIC: GROWING YOUR CAREER WITH AUTHENTIC PERSONAL BRANDING.
You’ve probably heard the term “personal branding” before, but what does it really mean? Too often, professionals equate personal branding with playing a part rather than bringing out the best of who they are. Join experienced brand- ing professional Emily Juhnke to learn more about the elements of an effective personal brand that will help you be- come more comfortable with yourself as a professional, open you up to new job opportunities, and help you win and retain more clients.
Emily is passionate about helping people connect with ideas and products that make their lives better. She has worked in brand management, corporate communication, marketing and public relations for more than 11 years for organiza- tions including INVISTA, The Salvation Army, The Wichita Independent Business Association, and Allen, Gibbs and Houlik.
She is currently the director of marketing and business development for corporate identity firm Gardner Design.
Emily earned her bachelor's degree in English from Friends University, and she also spent time in the Masters of Eng- lish program at Wichita State. She is a certified social media specialist.
In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, amateur gardening, and goofing around with her husband, two girls, and two cra- zy dogs. She serves on the elder board of her church and as the vice president of membership for the Wichita chapter of the American Marketing Association.
