Esther Ferrer Ruiz (San Sebastián, December 19, 1937) is a Spanish interdisciplinary artist focused on performance art and considered one of the best Spanish artists of her generation.

In 2008 she received the National Prize for Plastic Arts of Spain and in 2014, the Velázquez Prize for Plastic Arts awarded by the Ministry of Culture.

Her work can be classified as minimalist and conceptual art.
She takes as her references artists such as Stéphane Mallarmé, Georges Perec, and John Cage, as well as the feminisms of the 1960s and 1970s.

Her work is featured in the Reina Sofía Museum and the Helga de Alvear Museum in Cáceres, among others.

filmmaker, photographer, and writer, with whom I had the pleasure of working at the last edition of the Venice Biennale, is premiering his next exhibition, “Portrait of a Lady,” in Brussels at NooN Consulting Art.

About the artist:
Eduardo Momeñe is a photographer and author of articles and essays on photographic aesthetics.
Teaching photography has been an important part of his professional career.

He has given numerous courses, workshops and seminars.

He has produce projects such as the television series ‘La puerta abierta’ and the magazine ‘Fotografías’, both are considered reference and iconic works.

His first solo exhibition was held at the Nikon Gallery in Barcelona in 1974.

Since then, his photographs have formed part of public and private collections and he has held exhibitions in different countries.

Latest exhibitions have taken place at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid (‘Portraits and other Fictions’ / 2023-2024),
Luis Burgos Gallery (PhotoEspaña 2024)
the Palazzo Pasani Revedin (Venice Biennale / Apr-May 2024) with
His latest exhibition has been held at the Museo Barjola in Gijón.
