Mother Nature’s Torso 🌿 ~ I first created her as a highly detailed eight-foot clay model in my studio, and now she rises to a sixteen-foot monumental bronze at the foundry—where I continue to refine and elevate every detail.

First Women Doctors of the 1800's ~ Shown here is the opening slide from my 75-slide presentation to the Physicians Scientific Society, highlighting my sculptures honoring two pioneering women physicians in the United States—Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell and Dr. Sarah Loguen Fraser. I am sincerely grateful for the thoughtful words shared by the Society’s President, Wendy S. Ziecheck, M.D. ~

"The Physicians' Scientific Society, an august group of New York City physicians, was honored to have Carolyn Palmer as a presenter at our April 2025 dinner meeting. Carolyn entertained and educated the group with a stimulating visual presentation of her artistic process and her vast body of impressive sculptural works. We were given insight into her artistic world- from concept, to fabrication, and finally installation of her incredible likenesses of some of history’s most notable figures.

The Physicians Scientific Society salutes the works of Carolyn Palmer and wishes her continued success in achieving an unprecedented artistic vision."
