✨ Open House 2026 was a success!✨

What a wonderful day! We welcomed so many people and saw so many beautiful Opel GTs. We are especially grateful for all the support, kind stories and memories shared with us about Monique. ❤️

One of the nicest things we heard today was: “This is the Mecca of the Opel GT in the world.” 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to all our volunteers and employees who made this day possible.

Yesterday, a whole group of Opel GT Roadsters enjoyed a scenic drive through the region and paid a visit to the Opel GT Factory.

It was a great day and also a perfect dress rehearsal for our upcoming Open Day on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.

We’re looking forward to welcoming many more Opel GT enthusiasts then!

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒞𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉𝑜𝓇 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒪𝓅𝑒𝓁 𝒢𝒯 𝐹𝒶𝒸𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓅𝓉

With deep sadness, we share that on April 18th, Monique, the heart behind Opel GT Factory and Opel GT Suselbeek, passed away at the age of 59.

Over the past months, our family’s full focus has been on caring for her during her illness.

Because of this, we were unfortunately unable to process and handle orders as we normally would. We know this has caused delays and frustration for some customers, and we sincerely thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this difficult period.

Monique was far more than a part of the business — she was the driving force behind it all. She was the one who found the Opel GT Factory building, purchased it, and created the unique atmosphere and identity that Opel GT Factory is known for today.

The styling, presentation, and entire concept of the company came from Monique’s vision and creativity. What people know today as Opel GT Factory was her creation, her passion, and her life’s work — not Patrick’s, but Monique’s.

She was also the familiar face behind customer contact and countless things behind the scenes that kept everything moving forward every single day.

Monique was an eccentric, charismatic, and artistic woman with true allure, someone who left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

As a family, we are now facing an enormous loss. But we will do everything we can to pick up the pieces again, start shipping orders again, continue helping our customers, and make Monique proud.

Thank you all for your support, understanding, patience, and kind messages during this heartbreaking time.
