Stutterheim Historical Society Visit to KwaMaqoma Museum
On Saturday, 28th, a group from Stutterheim Historical Society visited the KWAMAQOMA MUSEUM for an educational and cultural experience. The purpose of the visit was to learn more about the rich history of the Eastern Cape, particularly the Xhosa heritage and the frontier wars.
Upon arrival, the visitors were warmly welcomed by the museum Curator Miss Asavela Maqubela and her team, who provided an introduction to the museum and its significance. The tour included detailed exhibitions showcasing traditional Xhosa culture, historical artifacts, and information about important historical figures such as CHIEF MAQOMA.
