NIKA Project Space — Art Gallery’s presentation at OFFSCREEN extends to 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴, a series of wall-mounted works that further unfold the universe created by Adel Abidin.

Featuring miniature paper garment templates designed for the figurines that recur throughout the installation, the works echo the central video, in which the artist measures and tailors garments for them. Those fragile forms extend the narrative into the exhibition space, revealing identity as provisional, continually assembled and disassembled.

Visit us through October 25.

The second of four sections of 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴, our current exhibition in Paris dedicated to the phenomenon of ex-voto, approaches the question of religious address through the Marian figure. An object of sometimes fervent devotion, the Virgin crystallises contradictory imaginaries in which virginity, motherhood, pain, and sexuality coexist in a state of permanent tension. The presented artists – Adrian Pepe, Alix Marie and Pauline Curnier Jardin – rework these attributes to propose other representations of the female body, freed from the ideal of purity while retaining the protective power of the votive figure.

For OFFSCREEN Paris 2026, NIKA Project Space — Art Gallery presents 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘞𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 (2024), a multimedia installation by Adel Abidin. Drawing on the Standard of Ur (c. 2600 BCE), a Sumerian artifact depicting scenes of war and peace, the installation puts together several interconnected works:

At its center, 𝘈𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤, a one-to-one replica of the ancient artifact, rests on a table covered with clay and sand, bearing only faint traces of its missing figures.

These figures reappear in 𝘜𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘥, a video following Abidin as he measures and tailors garments for the displaced figurines, evoking the continuous process of adapting and reshaping identity to fit new surroundings.

In 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴, miniature garment templates appear as paper cut-outs dispersed throughout the space.

Together, these works create an environment where past and present overlap together, reflecting on displacement and the ongoing reconstruction of identity.

On view in London | Bagri Foundation launches its inaugural Springboard exhibition programme with Nomin Zezegmaa’s first solo exhibition in the UK.

Drawing on her Mongolian roots, the artist responds to the striking architecture and rich choral history of St Cyprian’s Church. Inspired by the sound of elongated notes and changing tonalities of Urtiin Duu (Long Song), the exhibition visualises musical formations and rhythm through fluid marks, undulating forms and sculptural interventions. A central installation consists of a 27m batik cotton installation, with serene sounds found in pastoral communities echoing throughout the revered space.

The exhibition brings together important narratives carried by materials including batik cotton, wool, copper, silk and 1,008 specially-crafted bells sourced and cast in Mongolia.

Dubai-based Singaporean artist MG presents new paintings from her ongoing series Collecting the Collectors, which examines the private interiors of art collectors as psychologically charged spaces where identity and power are negotiated through objects and images. Drawing from real interiors while deliberately disrupting their spatial logic, her paintings transform domestic settings into unstable environments in which artworks, decorative objects, and their owners become participants in an intricate theatre of collecting and self-construction.

Discover MG’s work as part of the group exhibition 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥, currently on view at .projectspace, Dubai, through October 31.

We’re excited to preset Adel Abidin’s multimedia installation 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘞𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 (2024) as our presentation at OFFSCREEN that is opening October 20 in Chapelle Saint-Louis de la Salpêtrière, Paris.

Adel Abidin has developed an internationally recognised multidisciplinary practice examining how histories are constructed, erased, and remembered. Working across video, installation, sculpture, drawing, and painting, he combines dark humour with a precise visual language to explore power, displacement, conflict, identity, and cultural alienation.

Today, we introduce the first of four sections of 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴, our current exhibition in Paris, curated by .brechignac.

The exhibition opens with works by Carlota Sandoval Lizarralde and Dove Perspicacius that draw directly on the forms of the ex-voto, revealing both their persistence in contemporary artistic practices and their connection to popular culture. Historically produced outside academic circuits, often anonymously, and intended to be seen by all, the ex-voto offered a collective form of access to painting and sculpture.

This Friday, we look forward to the transformation of the Gothic interior of St Cyprian’s Church by Nomin Zezegmaa (Nomin Zezegmaa), presented as part of Bagri Springboard by Bagri Foundation.

The exhibition responds to the building’s striking architecture and choral history through sculpture, sound, painting and installation, including a newly commissioned sound work and a 27-metre-long batik installation.

Drawing from Mongol ancestral knowledge practices, cosmology and musical traditions, Zezegmaa’s work explores connections between spirituality, material, memory and place, transforming the church into an immersive and contemplative environment.

Curated by Bagri Foundation Director Chelsea Pettitt, the exhibition marks Zezegmaa’s first solo exhibition in the UK.

Exhibition open Mon-Sat, 10-24 Oct 2026
⏰ 7–9pm
📍 St Cyprian’s Church, Glentworth Street, London NW1 6AX

Andrew Riad expands his multidisciplinary research into dance, ancient Egyptian mythology, and the material history of copper through an installation combining painting, sculpture, text, and ritual gesture. Rooted in the figure of Hathor, the Egyptian goddess associated with music, dance, copper mining, and the passage between life and death, the project interweaves personal memory, Coptic funerary traditions, and the persistence of language. Copper, roses, milk, water, and movement recur throughout the installation and individual objects, connecting ideas of ancestry, spirituality, and cultural survival.

Discover Riad’s work as part of the group exhibition 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥, currently on view at .projectspace, Dubai, through October 31.
